Job Overview:

Are you an organized HR professional with a strong foundation in German labor, tax, and social security regulations? We are seeking a detail-oriented, native German-speaking HR Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) to join our corporate team in Osnabrück! This highly adaptable role can be tailored to fit your lifestyle, offering either full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours/week) commitments under a flexible hybrid working model. You will independently manage end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring total compliance with all local legal frameworks and internal company policies.

What You Will Do:

  • Independently manage, verify, and execute end-to-end payroll processes accurately and on schedule for all corporate employees.
  • Administer complete life-cycle personnel changes, efficiently processing new hires, terminations, promotions, and contract adjustments within the HR payroll system.
  • Provide expert guidance and clear communication to internal employees and departments regarding complex tax and social security matters.
  • Act as the primary corporate liaison with German government authorities, health insurance funds, and social security institutions to address inquiries.
  • Prepare detailed payroll analyses, audits, and custom data reports to support HR management and financial decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent C2-level proficiency in German (both written and spoken) is required to handle sensitive payroll communications and legal compliance text.
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of German payroll laws, income tax regulations, and social security contributions.
  • Hands-on proficiency with major payroll system architectures, preferably SAP HR or a closely related ERP environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong, collaborative communication skills for internal advisory support.

Work Schedule & Hybrid Model:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday within standard corporate business hours, featuring flexible core times to support work-life balance.
  • Flexibility: Open to Full-Time or Part-Time arrangements (minimum of 20 hours per week).
  • Workplace: Hybrid model requiring 2-3 days per week on-site at our modern office in Osnabrück, Germany, with the remainder completed remotely.
