About the Role

Join an international team supporting Google Cloud solutions. As a Digital Customer Engineer, you will combine technical expertise with consultative sales, helping partners and sales teams design, evaluate, and implement cloud solutions tailored to business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to partners and sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
  • Design scalable cloud architectures and recommend solutions.
  • Develop technical demonstrations, prototypes, and integrations.
  • Address technical challenges and support cloud adoption.
  • Deliver technical presentations and communicate Google Cloud's value.
  • Maintain opportunity records and technical documentation in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • Fluent German.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud technical sales engineering or a comparable customer-facing technical role.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS), Big Data, and databases.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, BigQuery, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Linux, networking, web technologies, and programming.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
